When your assigned closer receives the documents to be notarized via e-mail or overnight mail, the closer confirms the prescheduled appointment for the time and location, usually the borrower(s) home or place of employment. During the appointment, identification of the borrower(s) is confirmed, and all closing documents are notarized and sealed, and income documents are collected, if necessary, and included in the return loan package.
